TIP
For simple satays, prepare 1 package of seasoning mix as per package instructions and place in resealable freezer bag with 1 lb (500 g) beef strips. Marinate in refrigerator for 15 minutes. Weave strips accordion-style onto 8-10 bamboo skewers which have been soaked in water, using 3-4 beef strips per skewer. Broil or grill for 1-2 minutes per side, do not overcook. Skewers may be cut in 3-4 pieces to create appetizer satays or serve as a main dish over rice or Shanghai noodles.
