Dan has been active in the food industry for over 25 years. His recent position as the president of the Saskatchewan Food Industry Development Centre Inc. is to guide food processors through the maze of regulatory, marketing and manufacturing challenges. His previous experience with 10 years of product development at the Food Product Innovation Program has provided insight to the science and technology that keeps industry competitive. As manager of product development and technical services he assisted the meat processing industry in product and process development, technology transfer and regulatory issues.
