First Steak of Summer! You just gotta BELIEVE!
I’ve come to believe in the power of positive thinking: if we all band together and believe it is spring, it will be so – regardless of what that weather forecaster says! You just gotta BELIEVE!
I braved the ice patches this week, peeled back the cover on the barbecue and fired it up – that first ‘steak of summer’ was a BEAUTIFUL THING! My daughter and I concurred: a Top Sirloin Cap Steak is our favourite – it is the perfect size for us girls with no trimming required. It had amazing flavour – with just some Maldon salt and freshly ground pepper to season before grilling. It was as good as any restaurant steak if I must say so myself!
I invite you to take the Polar Dip – Canadian-style: peel off the parka and the mitts, get to the grill – and dive right in to your ‘first steak of summer!” You just gotta BELIEVE!
