For the health-conscious months of January/February, the Beef information Centre has teamed up with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada to help you leverage sales of lean and extra lean ground beef. This Health Check™ promotion program is centred around the February release of the newest Heart and Stroke cookbook, HeartSmart™: The Best of HeartSmart™ Cooking, written by leading Canadian cookbook author and culinary authority, Bonnie Stern. As a sneak preview to the book release, we are offering you a NEW BIC recipe booklet, “HeartSmart™ Cooking with Lean Ground Beef” as a merchandising tool for your meat counter. This booklet features 4 lean and delicious Bonnie Stern ground beef recipes and a contest for your customers to win the cookbook. As well, the booklet kit is supported by a Health Check™ dangler POS.
