Once a new product has been approved, it is important that the new product be prioritized into the new product process. To ensure success, new product development capacity needs to be determined and adhered to by the committee. Items to be considered for prioritization includes the new product level evaluation, seasonality, customer timelines, customer launch windows, equipment capacity and project team workload.
